Studio A NYC is a startup knitwear line designed and founded by sisters and ex-dancers, Alexis and Nicole Mondragon. Their knowledge in both ballet and knitwear has inspired tech forward products to support dancers bodies and community. We are focused on dressing the professional dancer who is seeking performance enhancing wardrobe for their daily routine. Dancer's hard work and talents continue to inspire us to innovate and reach out to improve our local arts community. We are purely driven by our passion for the arts and how it shapes our youth.

STUDIO A NYC IS FOCUSING ON DRESSING THE PROFESSIONAL DANCER WHO IS SEEKING A CHIC FUNCTIONAL PERFORMANCE ENHANCING WARDROBE. DANCERS AND ATHLETES ALIKE ARE USING THEIR BODIES AT A HIGH INTENSITY DURING TRAINING AND THERE IS A NEED FOR THEIR FASHION TO HELP THEIR MUSCLES PERFORMANCE AND RECOVERY.

1.COMPRESSION

Gradient compression functionality improves blood flow within the muscles preventing fluid pooling, inflammation, fatigue, restlessness, and pain

2.TEMPERATURE

Temperature control functionality keeps muscles at an optimum temperature while wearing the garment to prevent injury or strain

3.MOISTURE

Moisture management has the ability to absorb sweat and dry faster, helping the athlete feel dry and maintain an optimum body temperature
